Fox Corporation launched its new subscription-based sports streaming platform in the Mexican market on October 20. The media giant decided to call it Fox One, the brand it uses in the United States for the OTT that encompasses all the linear channels owned by the company in that country.

In Mexico, Fox One will offer over two thousand live sports events a year, together with a broad range of sports shows. The move is part of Fox Corporation’s ongoing advancement into the sports segment within the Mexican territory. At present, it airs very important soccer tournaments, including Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Ligue 1, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana, Saudi Pro League, Concachampions and Liga MX, as well as competitions in other sports such as baseball (LMB and LMP leagues) and auto racing (World Rally Championship, Formula E and Nascar). The above-mentioned content is delivered through Pay TV channel Fox, free OTT Tubi and SVOD platform Caliente TV. Fox One has just been added to the list.

The launch of the new SVOD streaming service had been preannounced by Fox Corp. in June 2025, when it informed that it had acquired Mexican sports content brand Caliente TV.

According to the explanation given by Fox Corporation, Fox One is already available on Claro Video, América Móvil’s streaming service. In the next few weeks, it will be included in the catalogs of OTT Amazon Prime Video and Roku platform. Finally, before the end of the current year Fox One will launch as an independent platform delivering content directly to viewers.

“The launch of Fox One in Mexico materializes our vision, whose aim is to provide the region with a streaming service focused on catering for the sports fan par excellence and to go on expanding our content footprint,” asserted Carlos Martínez, Fox Executive Vice President for Latin America.
