Pluto TV, a free streaming platform owned by ViacomCBS, released its first temporary channel in Latin America on May 13. The channel is called Estrellas de Acción (Action Stars) and will be available until June 10.

The introduction of temporary or seasonal channels, also referred to as pop-up channels, had been preannounced by Pluto TV Senior Director of Content and Programming, Arelys Carballo, during the virtual press conference held on April 28. Temporary channels are also used by Pluto TV in the United States.

The new channel broadcasts action movies starring great celebrities such as Steven Seagal, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Momoa, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jackie Chan and Jet Li. The films can be viewed on the linear channel, as well as through the VOD system.
