On November 4, Argentine telecommunications company Telecom, which owns operators Flow and Personal, launched a benefit of key importance for its customers with a view to the upcoming FIFA World Cup. It will be possible for users of Personal, whether they are mobile phone or fixed Internet customers, to access the streaming Pay TV service called Flow Flex in order to view all the World Cup matches without paying any additional charge.
Those users who are interested in the benefit will have to activate Flow Flex in their accounts by entering Subscriptions, then Live TV and finally selecting Monthly Subscription. In this way, they will have access to the whole tournament, which will be aired on TV Pública and TyC Sports channels, as well as to enjoy Flow entertainment content, which includes a good number of linear channels and an extensive VOD library. The benefit will be available until December 31, 2022.
Telecom has explained that those users who wish to view the World Cup matches by using their mobile data may sign up to the extra Flow Pass pack, which will offer 20 GB for a period of 30 days to be used exclusively during the streaming of the matches, which will allow customers to save up their traditional plans’ mobile data.
Flow has also announced that it will broadcast the World Cup in 4K quality and that it has added new features related to the tournament. Flow Full pack subscribers who have a 4K TV set will have the possibility of enjoying the matches in 4K on channel 130. In addition, the platform will include interactive features, such as the World Cup fixture, match highlights and special shows related to the players standing out in each game.
