Satellite Pay TV operator Sky Brasil (AT&T) has added three Paraná State Globo affiliates to its line up. In addition, it has expanded coverage of an affiliate in the above mentioned state that was already included in the line up in other cities. The new channels are RPC Cascavel, RPC Londrina and RPC Ponta Grossa. The channel whose coverage has been expanded is RPC Curitiba. The four affiliated stations together reach users living in 237 cities in Paraná State.
In this way, Sky sticks to its strategy of adding Globo affiliates throughout the Brazilian territory. The initiative was started in 2017 and according to information provided by Sky, nearly 50 regional channels have been incorporated since then.
Thanks to the inclusion of the four channels owned by RPC Group, which is based in Curitiba, Paraná State capital city, it will be possible for Sky customers to access local shows. Both for prepaid and postpaid packages, the channels will be available in SD and HD, with wholly digital image and sound.
