The US streaming market is about to start a new stage with the launch of two powerful OTT services: Walt Disney Company’s Espn and Fox Corporation’s Fox One. In addition to that, the latest news is that the companies have entered into an agreement to create a single bundle combining both streaming platforms, which will have a strong impact on competitors.

Espn DTC will provide all the content offered by the channels belonging to the sports network, including live events and linear channels. At the same time, Fox One will make available the full portfolio of Fox channels, which encompasses news, entertainment and an impressive sports offering.

Both services are scheduled to be launched on August 21. The date had been announced almost simultaneously by the two companies, a coincidence that is now clearly explained by their decision to partner together. Both will become individually available on August 21, while the combined bundle will be available for purchase beginning on October 2. The monthly fee to be paid for the two services bundled together will be USD 39.99, whereas individual monthly prices will be USD 29,99 for Espn and USD 19,99 for Fox One.
