Netflix’s new bet is on live music. The streaming giant is to air the show that will mark the return of South Korean group BTS. The concert is to take place at Gwanghwamun Square, located in Seoul, South Korea, on March 21, 2026 and will be livestreamed globally at no additional cost. Netflix has partnered with Hybe for the broadcast of the event.
In addition, a documentary entitled BTS: The Return is to debut on Netflix on March 27. The documentary will portray the process the group has gone through to create its latest studio album, Arirang, which will be released on March 20.
BTS’s comeback show will be the Netflix first-ever live event broadcast from South Korea to be livestreamed all over the world.
BTS, whose music may be classified as K-Pop, is among the most prominent bands in the world. The group has not performed any show since October 2022, when its members had to do their mandatory military service on account of the age they were then. They have just announced their return with a global tour including 82 performances in 34 countries.
