The Walt Disney Company has confirmed to TAVI Latam that as from February 15, 2024 it will rebrand all its Fox Sports channels in Spanish-speaking Latin America and Brazil in order to discontinue the brand in the region. The new Pay TV sports channels will be Espn 5, Espn 6 and Espn 7. The news was unofficially published by digital website Tribuna Deportiva.

-Central America: Espn Extra is to be renamed as Espn 4, Espn 4 as Espn 5 and Fox Sports 3 as Espn 6.
-Brazil: Espn Extra will change its name to Espn 6 and Fox Sports 2 to Espn 5. Only the rebranding of Fox Sports 2 was unofficially reported by local newspaper Folha de S. Paulo in late October.
When Disney acquired 21st Century Fox and all its Pay TV channels in Latin America, it agreed to return the brand, which was a very gradual process. First, Fox Sports was renamed as Espn 4 throughout Spanish-speaking Latin America in December 2021 and in Brazil in January 2022. Then in April 2022, Fox Sports Premium de Argentina became Espn Premium, a move that was at the same time useful to reorganize the channels with a view to the acquisition of the whole Argentine Fox Sports network by Spanish group Mediapro. Later, in June 2023, Disney decided to discontinue Fox Sports 2 in Central America. The changes to be introduced next February will put an end to the use of the Fox brand by Disney in Latin America.
