OTT platform FlixLatino (which belongs to distributor Somos Next) has added a news section, called FlixKids, to its service. The service currently available in Puerto Rico and USA aims to grow within the segment focused on children.

The inclusion of this service will bring about a significant increase in the number of subscribers, more traffic and visitors, both through the app and the website,” explained the CEO of the company Luis Guillermo Villanueva. FlixKids contains a selection of children videos filtered by professionals, which guarantees that users’ children will not have access to content that are not adequate to their ages.

The new section is included in the monthly subscription fee of FlixLlatino, which is USD 2.99. It is worth highlighting that all videos in this video library are in Spanish. According to Villanueva, this new section will increase FlixLatino’s relevance within the Latin American market, both as a brand and as a service.
