US media behemoth Fox Corporation has officially announced the launch of Fox channel in the Mexican market. Formerly called Caliente TV, the channel will change its name to Fox. The brand transition had begun a few days before the official announcement on August 4. Fox Corporation had acquired Caliente TV from betting company Caliente in June 2025.

According to a press release issued by Fox Corp., Fox will be a Pay TV channel. Initially, it will be possible to access it through Tubi, Fox Corp.’s free streaming service, only until the end of August. As from September 1, the new channel will be available only through Pay TV operators and paid streaming platform Caliente TV, which will keep the same name for the time being.

Fox has given full details of the content included in the new channel’s portfolio. As far as soccer is concerned, it will broadcast the home matches played by nine of the twenty teams in the Mexican league (Pachuca, León, Xolos de Tijuana, Querétaro, Toluca, Tigres, FC Juárez, Puebla and Mazatlán) live, as well as Concacaf Champions League, Europe Champions League, England’s Premier League and FA Cup, France’s Ligue 1, Coppa Italia and Saudi Arabia League. In addition, Fox channel will offer live broadcasts of competitions in other sports, such as motorsports (Nascar Mexico Series, World Rally Championship, WEC, MXGP and Formula E), new US American football league UFL, school sports in the United States and Pro Padel League.
