Venezuelan Satellite TV operator SimpleTV (Scale Capital) is to launch its own streaming service, whose name is SimplePlus. Although the new product has not been officially announced by the company so far, the application for Android is already available and a press release is scheduled to take place on July 12 to publicize the news.

According to comments posted by SimpleTV users, SimplePlus is a TV Everywhere platform that will be offered as an additional benefit without any surcharge for subscribers with active plans. In this way, it will be possible for users to access the channels in their Satellite TV lineup and VOD content via streaming and from any place. The operator has been developing the TV Everywhere service since 2021.

SimplePlus offers advanced features that allow users to pause and rewind live content, to restart shows already in progress, to record linear channels and to create profiles. Once the OTT has been officially launched, access will be possible through the web and from a wide variety of mobile devices.
