Gloob premieres its first original sitcom
Gloob, a Brazilian Pay TV kids channel owned by Globosat programming company has begun to broadcast its first original sitcom, Bugados, this week. The series airs Monday through Friday and consists of 52 episodes of 26 minutes each.
“It is a challenge to invest and produce a sitcom designed for children for the first time; this genre has been hardly explored in this country. Bugados is 100% made in Brazil,” asserted Globosat Children Unit Director Tatiana Costa. The project was created and developed by Scriptonita Film and produced by Floresta, both Brazilian companies.
The show features three superheroes of a videogame who manage to get out of the screen and enter the real world. Like all sitcom formats, chapters are independent and all of them have an end, although the general story progresses.
