Metro Goldwyn Mayer’s SVOD service has announced that it has been added to Apple TV channels in Latin America, thus broadening its access options. The service was already available in the region through Amazon Prime Video Channels, but only in Mexico and Brazil for the time being.
According to information provided by MGM, its SVOD service is already operating through Apple TV Channels in Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic. Prices vary by country. “This pan-regional launch on the Apple TV app further cements MGM’s successful expansion of our on demand SVOD service,” asserted Chris Ottinger, President of Worldwide Television Distribution and Acquisitions at MGM.
The catalog includes the following titles: The Hobbit, The Magnificent Seven, Robocop, 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, Legally Blonde, Legally Blonde: Red White and Blonde, The Vow, If I Stay, Me Before You, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate SG1.
Apple TV Channels is accessible on the Apple TV app, which runs on Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Chromecast players, on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Mac devices, on Playstation and Xbos consoles and on select Samsung, LG, Sony and Vizio smart TVs.
